Closing as superseded by protected master commit 060abbb0ea40a9b1b3bcd5e322272324b6256a30 and the canonical follow-up #360. Current master already renders the empty state with role="status", flex alignment, a decorative .icon, and scoped aria-hidden="true" while preserving the newly merged exact-byte CSP contract. This stale branch would mainly replace the current information icon with an emoji folder and conflicts with #360's explicit deterministic visual-treatment direction. The review regression was addressed on exact head bae8ef15e290632548f0f748411ad084e5eaa42b, but retaining the branch would now duplicate current behavior and compete with the current-base UI work.
